Our membership year begins in September and runs to August 31 of the next year. Contributions and income from memberships are our most important sources for obtaining operating funds so we need your support.
In addition to continuing our series of special exhibits and expanding our community-oriented social events, we also expect to offer programs for members of all ages. The Kelso House Lyceum series offers programs geared to the interests of adults. The Kelso Kids’ Club (for children in grades one through four) and the History Club (for youngsters in grades five through eight with an interest in history and the lifestyles and artifacts of earlier times) offer education-oriented programs each month through next April.
We hope all visitors to the Kelso House Museum will visit the Kelso Store. Members receive a 10% discount on purchases.
An Invitation to join
Membership in the Brimfield Historical Society means being part of a tradition of local people who joined forces to establish and maintain a local museum dedicated to preserving objects and images that document the evolution of a Western Reserve community established in 1816.

Benefits of Membership
Your membership in the Brimfield Historical Society is tax deductible and includes a subscription to our newsletter, the Kelso Courier. Members receive a discount on all items purchased at the Kelso House Store and are invited to participate in all BHA-sponsored events.
The Heritage Room, located in the lower level of the Kelso House, can be rented by members for family and special events at a reduced rate. Call for more information.
