The Kelso House Museum is committed to preserving Brimfield Township’s history. We continue to collect objects, photographs and documents related to the township or early area families and businesses. If you believe you have items matching our need, the Accessions Committee will be interested in reviewing your possible donations.

Township Bell - 1973.06
(c. 1871)

Manufactured by the Buckeye Bell Foundry & Vanduzen & Tift, Cincinnati. The bell was used in the original Brimfield Township Town Hall until 1951 when the hall was demolished.

Corn Crib
(c. Post Civil War)

Double bay corn crib built by John Boosinger, Jr. This crib was the first out building to be added to the Kelso grounds in 1975.

This item was found in the Kelso House attic when the BMHA acquired the building.
